Shoot, we can make watertight hatch covers--we should be able to make a watertight hard cover that doesn't require an external fabric cover! ;)

Wouldn't it have been great to have a way to lock all of our stuff in the kayaks, and have the kayak locked in the tree when we got to Friday Harbor, and then be able to walk around and not worry about anything?
