A pulling boat is not something you tow. In fact it is just the opposite. It is a rowing boat originally used to pull sailing ships before they had aux. power. Your idea about towing a small trailer type boat is worth pursuing. We have been doing it for a number of years. We started by towing an old glass WW boat behind a canoe to haul extra camping gear when the kids started to take up a lot of space in the boat. It was also great fun to have a yak to play in along on the trip. Latter when the kids would get tired of paddling I would tow them in there kayaks with mine. We would sometimes form a train which was alot of work for the engine but fun. When you do tow we found a short line the best and if you keep the attachment point near the mid point of the tow boat it makes it much easyer to control dirction. This set up has allowed us to some trips that would have been impossible otherwise. It's worth a try, Steve
