I have been building wooden boats since I have been a teen. I have built three canoes,a drift boat, and maybe 10 kayaks. I learn new things with each boat I build. I llke to make them artistic if possible . I love long kayak trips and have gone to Glacier Bay Alaska and enjoy the west coast of Vancouver Island. My other hobbies are flyfishing,mountian climbing, snowshoeing,hiking, and organic gardening. I also enjoy making wood art peices. I am a contractor and run my own home repair business so I build boats when things are slow.
