Old kayaker (72+). Have built 4 wood kayaks (Pygmy Artic Tern & Osprey [wifes], a Point Bennett by Brian Strosaker, and a Great Auk 14 by Nick Schade). I also built a Tom Yost Sea Tour 15R aluminum frame and vinyl skin. I am also building a SOF Canoe (Kudzu design)with my son and am thinking of a strip Canoe next. I live in upstate NY where there are numerous lakes and rivers to kayak when we don't have tropical storms.
