Ok have a web search for you

Years back there was a beach cat, one of the originals that had an A frame rig like that called an AquaCat. Still being made I think, if you do a web search you'll find pictures. It works well enough but isn't real efficient and tends too have too much weight aloft. Still it's very simple.

Back about 45 years ago I built a boat with an A frame rig, it too worked ok but still had way too much weight aloft, also on a monohull it tended to roll alot in light winds. Hey I was like 12 at the time
