I recently completed a Cirrus SLT for my 9 year old son and he's thrilled with it. Now, he's got a wood boat like Dad. The Cirrus SLT is 14' and my son weighs just enough now to use the boat but will be able to use it for a lot of years before he outgrows it. I build from a kit from One Ocean Kayaks and it very well put together. The boat performs quite well and my son loves it...

We recently went on a 2 night kayak camping trip with Alex in his new Cirrus SLT and me in my Spring Run. We had plenty of storage for all our gear and what a blast; spent 2 nights on an island on Lake Hartwell in N. GA.
