Thanks for the insight. I'll give it some thought and decide what approach to use.

I do wonder if I had some footrests that allowed me to angle my feet sorta like the gas pedal in a sports car but maybe a slightly steeper angle, I might both get my feet to fit and be comfortable. My current boats all have adjustable foot pegs but they are verticle surfaces. Have you ever seen any adjustable pegs that are at an angle?
