Amateur, I built a cedar strip canoe in '98, and a couple of canoe paddles. Wanted to build an ultralight canoe, but came across one on ebay that cost same or a little less than materials so I bought it. Now I need a kayak paddle - started in using Nick Schade's plans. Already goofed so another is in the plannning, doing it right next time.

Ny normal woodworking revolves around making pens.
