Hi, I live in Florida, build boats and play on the water. I have an 18' Simmons Sea Skiff I built in2007, she's a peach and trip back in time. Last year my girlfriend, Robin, and I built our hybrid (stitch/strip) yaks and love them. They're very stable and maneuverable perfect for us as most of our paddling is on the tidal backwater creeks in North FL. Starting to look at more efficient hull designs now and that brought me here. Very nice forum. Looking forward to learning and sharing here.
