Duane:

So there is no issue with applying the keel strip AFTER the hull is painted? Do you add an extra layer of tape with the epoxy - or is it just expoy alone?

: Two coats of the white, two coats on the cockpit trim, and one coat
: on the sheer line trim. The trick is to have a keel strip of
: thickened and colored epoxy for wear. The keel takes most of the
: abuse. The paint is pretty durable, but I occasionally touch it
: up. No need to varnish if you're painting.
