I spent a hour trying to post a photo of this - may need to get my grandson to help:( I will try a verbal picture. I built a Guillemont "L", no problem. I am now building a Guillemont "S". No problem with the bow but the stern has a problem. When I place former #15 on my 1/2" ply strong back extension it fits perfect at the top but is 1/2" short of the bottom of the plywood. I have already cut 1/2" off the bottom of the ply extension to allow for an internal stem. The only solution I can see is to reshape the bottom of the ply extension by cutting off another 1/2" but this will make the stern very narrow - arrow shaped. Is there anything else I can possibly do?
