A very fortuitous, timely thread - after a year 'without', I'm looking at putting Yakimas in a Storm, also, finally, the forward bulkhead (yeah, I know - I wanted to paddle - what can I say?). It's 'challenging' (they block out the more descriptive words, don't they?), looks like my hatch placement puts the braces right behind the bulkhead site. I'm looking at cutting
the rails in half - don't see where I'll need the entire length (ala' Maurer), using McMasterCarr studs. Wish me luck.....
