I am about to start planking my Black Pearl and am in the process of picking up some new tools. After borrowing staple guns for many years (to put up Christmas lights and such) I decided I'd better buy my own for doing the boat. Of course, any staple that goes in, needs to come out so I figured I'd need some kind of staple remover. I found the perfect tool at Princess Auto.

For 4.99 this tools works like a charm. Pulls the staples straight out and the base is wide enough to not dent the soft wood.
