For what it's worth - I am an experienced wood worker - airplane builder - contractor - CAD designer - - I spent most of last winter working on a dual trim router setup to cut bead and cove at once. One router on top of table one upside down below. One set in place permanent the other micro adjustable laterally for different width strips. I had guides, hold down fingers, slippery tape in the grooves to slide the wood easily. Early this spring I took it apart and burned it in my wood stove and figured I had wasted a lot of time. I bought a couple of very small, handy wood planes and now plane all my strips. MUCH MUCH easier than cove and bead and fit is better.
No way saying it cannot be done but if you come up with a design that works and is consistently repeatable you will make a lot of friends on this forum :)
