I'm looking to build one of these boats from a kit soon but can't make up my mind. The Petrel seems better suited to my weight/size as a paddler, but the Greenland Night Heron seems to have the perfect balance of performance characteristics I'm looking for. If there is anyone in the North Central Tx area that has a boat I could try out, I would really appreciate it.
Looking for a boat that can handle Lake Texoma. Possible high winds and chop.
