I'm going to fool around with different fore-deck height to make sure that I have enough room for my size 13 feet!! I'm not that concerned about carrying capacity as I don't camp out of my boat so that is not a factor!!

Yes, the Black Pearl is one of the nicest looking boats I've seen - and I'm not just saying that because I built one!! It is also the most "fun" boats that I have paddled. It reacts very quickly to weight shifts. Accelerates like you wouldn't believe. You should try one if you get the chance. Of course, it's also a great rolling boat!!
