I'm in the process of retrofitting a KajakSport in my boat and I have a quick question about the cable and housing. The installation instructions with the skeg are scanty, at best, and no where does it mention trimming the cable and housing to length. I am assuming that you do, indeed trim it the length and that a good cable cutter (or equivalent) would suffice. I worked for a number of years as a bike mechanic, so I have no fears of cutting cables and housings.
