I went with balls on the tips of my Black Pearl but I opted to leave them black. Strangely enough, I get quite a few compliments on my balls!! They are, by the way, squash balls filled with epoxy and they work great at protecting the fine tips of the boat and at preventing the puncture of other boats and paddlers in rough conditions!!
