This question has been asked and answered numerous times, but I need to ask for my own peace of mind, as this is my first time fiberglassing. If I put on a seal coat one day with the intent to fiberglass the next, if the seal coat is no longer tacky, do I need to sand?
According to the manufacturer there is a seven day period to fully cure. I'm using Entropy Super SAP CLR low viscosity with a slow hardner. My concern is, if I sand and the epoxy is still soft (not tacky) it may leave a glaze on the finish from the imbeded sawdust. Thanks, again, for the help and feedback.
As an aside, has anyone used a wood sealer instead of epoxy as a seal coat?
