Hi Kevin: Now that I have put together the invisable hatch setup on my Night Heron, I'm not sure I'm confident that I want to depend on that scheme alone to keep my hatches in place. I do plan on putting in hatch leashes, but I don't want the hatches popping off when I'm in big water. So, like you, I think I'm going to put on hatch straps. Did you use side release buckles or cam release buckles. I'm thinking that I like the cam buckles better. Also, I'm just going to have two straps per hatch, as my hatches are relatively small. Just like to hear your thoughts. Thanks, Jack
