Hi: I'm getting ready to tape the deck to the hull on my Night Heron. I am wondering if there is a fixed rule on how many layers of tape you need on the inside seam. Nick suggests two strips on 1" and 2". I'd like to try to get away with one strip, of perhaps 3". Is this a problem? Just trying to simplify things as much as possible. Thanks, Jack
