I was surprised to see my question on how to join the forum posted in the forum. Guess I am a member.

I just bought a wooden cedar strip kayak. The top is stained and clear coated with fiberglass, the bottom is fiber glassed but some fiberglass cloth is evident. The bottom is pained but with what I don't know. The cowling around the cockpit opening needs to be created and installed. Hoping this web site can help with this project.
