The foam came from Clark Rubber ....a national mob down here in OZ. With the power tools , unfortunately I did not have access to any of the u-beaut attachments that feature in a number of blogs etc....still - pretty happy with the results of the 'slow-and steady' approach. As Bill notes, having the blank held on a benchtop is very important. The last cuts I made were to finalise the outer shape; this meant I was working with an 18" square block and so was easier to chock in place on the bench..
