I built the Point Bennett a few years back. Initially it had the plywood deck, but after a year or so I was dissatisfied with how it turned out, so I decided to rip off the plywood deck and replace with strip. I changed the deck shape from the original. I simply mocked up some forms to tacked a fes test strips onit to make sure it was fair and looked OK.
