It's pretty tough coming up with any 'new ideas' with this mob! :P

I can see where this could be a stress point - which is why I'd suggest adding strips under that area - reinforces, as well as allows the drain groove to be as deep as necessary. But unlike you folks, I'm just talking - I haven't done this, yet.
