Hi Bill: I like your foam pad idea. It also cuts back on the weight. Are you thinking of using minicell foam
with a groove cut out for the keel? Or pieces of foam on either side of the keel and a foam seat on top.
I am trying to envision a seat that I won't end up with the keel up my buttocks. :-)
