Hi Bob: I don't have any good on water pictures, but here's what I think after paddling it a few times.
It's a very light boat - around 30 to 35 lbs., depending what you have on it. The initial stability, I found to be a little
"tippy", and took a little getting used to. Secondary stability is good due to the hard chine. Because of the low volume
it feels a little cramped. Fortunately, Dave Gentry's plans call for a standard size cockpit, which helps getting in and out.
That's opposed to the smaller ocean cockpit found on some Greenland kayaks. The kayak tracks well, and I didn't notice a lot
of weather cocking. I, personally, had some trouble getting comfortable in it, as the plans don't include any kind of seat
arrangement or foot bracing, which I am used to. Apparently, most true Greenland kayaks don't have seats, seat backs, or braces,
so I had to kind of rig something that worked for me. Part of my issue is age (78) and flexibility. When the kayak is in the water, it looks HOT!
Fun boat to play around with, and very modestly priced for what you get. Jack
