Hi Jack, (don't say that in an airport)

Thanks for the input, I will also be curious to see what happens. Not being a designer and fully understand what I'm doing, I don't know what to expect. But yesterday was pretty breezy and I noticed less effects from the wind during my short paddle then I did with my 18' Guillemot. My typical paddling, is family day paddling in easier conditions (were talking an eleven year old son and a significant other here) so when I built it, my thought was a shorter boat with more water line and harder tracking so a weaker paddler could spend more time just paddling and less time correcting for wind and lack of paddling skill. Heck I figure if I can get him to enjoy the sport as much as I do by paddling something easy, that he will want to build his own in the future. Besides if it all doesn't work out I have an excuse to build another.
