Have to drill 2 holes in ea peg. One 3/8in (check barrel lock diam) vertically down maybe not not not quite thru so the barrel lock doesn't fall thru. Might have to blob in some epoxy.

And another say 5/16in hole horizontally in line with the vertical hole that the 1/4in rope slides thru. Both holes should be close to the peg base as possible so feet don't tangle up w/ the line.

Another idea would be to use webbing instead of rope and say glue on one of those camlocks and slide the (continuous still ) line thru. Might be more positive. Like consider the pedal as one large cam lock. Another idea would be to glue(prob need polyurethane as I think those keepers are plastic) the camlock on the face of the pedal and the new pedal is actually the camlock extended a bit.
