I built my first boat at age 16, a Minimax hydroplane from the plans offered by Science and Mechanics magazine. Nearly 50 years later I built a Yost Sea Tour 15, a Platt Monfort Arrow Canoe and a custom design kayak roughly based on the offsets of Tom Yost's Sea Rider Multi-chine. Still kind of a beginner, but I enjoy all kinds of boats!
