It seems as strong as the slow stuff to me, but I haven't done any destructive tests. I have bonded some pieces of wood together that had a small gap in between that I could only suck up with heavy clamp pressure. A little bit later I took off the clamps and it didn't budge. Remember, it only has to be stronger than the wood.

If you are concerned with the strength, buy some and test it compared to the slow stuff. It's only like $5 for a small 2 bottle set (epoxy and hardener) that will last through quite a few projects.
