Thank you for replying. I was hoping you would chime in, because I remembered you posting something a while ago (I have been watching for two years and am just getting started now), I just didnt know where I saw it.

Today I used a peice of rope and a screwdriver to twist the rope tight in order to bring both sides together equally, I tried the ratchet strap first but found that it was applying pressure more on one side. I have used the heat gun, and tomorrow I plan on soaking a towel with boiling water and using the heat gun. I figure I will do this for a number of days and when I think it is good I will gob on hot glue to the back side and hope for the best.

How long did you leave it clamped down for? Also from your pic it looks like you where further along than me as I can still see the 16th form from the top. So if it worked for you I hope it will for me.
